Book of Love

This beauty of a union between Lindsey & Andy on 8/1/2015 will always be special to me. Lindsey & her mom, Donna, left no detail undone. They put so much thought, time & work into each piece of decor and every aspect of the wedding and I was sad when it was over. My crew, along with the BotanicAllure coordination team, decked out Brick at Liberty Station with loads of vintage books & we used old card catalogs as the escort card drawers. Lots of bright pops of sunshine yellow flowers & a well-stocked cookie bar made for one delightful evening, all flawlessly captured by Sierra Solis Photography! The most touching part of the wedding came the week following the wedding when I went to Donna’s house to pick up some of my rentals. Upon my arrival, I could see monochromatic, monocultivar bouquets hanging upside down on the patio. This amazing woman spent an entire day deconstructing all of the arrangements I created for the wedding so that she could dry out all of the flowers and make some wreaths for Lindsey & Andy’s home. She then thanked me for all of my hard work because she realized how long it took her to deconstruct everything & acknowledged that it must have taken me even longer to design them. This was such a moving moment for me. Never before has a wedding been so full-circle for me, nor has anyone taken the time to truly appreciate the amount of work that I put into my weddings. Every detail. I will cherish that moment as one of the most touching of my floral career.
